The Westmorland County Football Association appointed a full-time Football Development Officer in March 2002 and a Girls & Women's Officer in March 2005 to deliver the National Football Development Initiatives in line with local needs.
The development programme has since continued to grow and with the programme led by a full-time officer will continue to expand.
The FA initiatives ensure that all football needs are met which will be delivered throughout the country to all communities involved in football.
