Westmorland County FA continue to provide the County Development Centre for gifted and talented youngsters in the County.
Highly qualified local coaches provide expert coaching and fixtures for the elite players in the County at Under 16 and Under 18 level.
The County Development Centre has been established to provide top level coaching for talented and gifted youngsters as part of an active link to create a clear pathway for talented players to participate at a higher level.
Westmorland County FA and Milnthorpe Corinthians FC jointly run an Under 18’s team, which is made up of the best players from across the county and are coached by highly qualified UEFA coaches.
Players are selected for the squads following nominations from club managers, schools and attendance at trials as well as regular ongoing assessment of their involvement in club fixtures.
