Guidance and Policies

We have several Guidance documents and Policies to assist with the administration of football within the County.

Celebrating Football through Photographs and Video  Guidelines on the appropriate taking of images of children in football

Suggestions, Praise and Complaints  If you have a comment or complaint about our services, we would like to know. We aim to provide the best possible care for our customers and your views will help us to get things right

Metal Cup Hooks on Goalposts   The use of metal cup hooks as net fixings was banned from the commencement of 2007 season by The FA.

Pitch-Side Medical Care and the Contents of the Medical Bag  In the increasingly litigious society that we now live in there are grave concerns about the level of medical support and resources that a club needs to have whenever it conducts any training or matching activity.

Commercial Activities These guidelines/questions help schools, teachers and parents to validate organisations and/or individuals offering football opportunities for children. The Football Association Charter Standard is the kitemark for good practice within the game, but regrettably not all organisations have the ability or inclination to obtain this recognition, although providing football opportunities for young people.

Goalpost Safety Guidelines  Too mary serious injuries and fatalities have occurred in recent years as a result of unsafe or incorrect use of goalposts.  Safety is always of paramount importance.

Guidance Notes on White Line Marking of Football Pitches  These guidelines have been drawn up by the Institute of Groundsmanship

Safeguarding Children Policy Statement  Every child or young person, who plays or participates in football should be able to take part in an enjoyable and safe environment and be protected from abuse.

The Football Association Equality Policy  This policy aims to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
