What is the FA Charter Standard and why should my club get involved?
The FA Charter Standard Scheme is a core component of The FA Football Development programme. The scheme establishes minimum standards for football development and acts as a quality assurance mechanism recognising well run and organised junior and adult clubs.
In summary the FA Charter Standard rewards clubs who demonstrate a commitment to raising standards in the following areas:
- Football For All
- Coaching and creating Better Players
- Raising Standards of Player and Spectator behaviour
- Commitment to the Respect Campaign
- Administration
- Child Protection
- Increasing Participation
- Supporting development of the volunteer workforce
