The Referees’ Development Group was launched in November 2008 to ensure that new and young referees in the county are provided with guidance and support to further their refereeing careers and set the foundations for anybody thinking of becoming a referee.The group will meet on a monthly basis; receiving in-service training with theory and fitness/practical sessions. Quality Referees and FA Instructors from all the north of England will also provide relevant and up to date training for the group.
