New Referees Development Officer

Westmorland County FA are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Backhouse as their new Referees’ Development Officer.

Mark joined the Association on the 4 October 2012.  Mark lives near Penrith and has been a referee for 8 years.  He is currently a Level 4 Referee.

Mark referees on the Northern League and assists on the Contributory League.

He will be responsible for developing refereeing in Westmorland including recruitment, retention, training, mentoring and assessor training of local referees.
