St George’s Park is the national training base for all national teams and is also used by many leading professional teams from throughout Europe.  Coaches and parents will get the opportunity to take part in a CPD event using the facilities.

Practical: Developing Attacking Play
 
The session will cover the following areas:
• Looking specifically at the development of attacking play in the Youth Development Phase.
• Practices that enable creativity and forward thinking to create goal scoring opportunities.
• Differentiation of and understanding terminology around developing ‘shadow strikers’ ‘false strikers’ and the role of the No. 9 and No.10.
• The importance of interchanging players, rotation & counter attacking in the modern game.
• Looking at attacking strategies and tactics that can be employed e.g. 4-3-3 or 3-5-2

Order of Day:
•         Arrival and Welcome at St George’s Park: 12noon
•         Lunch: 12noon – 12.30pm
•         Tours: 12.30pm - 1.30pm
•         Practical: 1.30pm – 4.30pm
•         Refreshments: 4.30pm – 5.15pm
•         Depart from: 5.15pm
 
Children aged 12 – 15 years can also attend the event – they will get a tour, lunch and be able to take part in the practical session.  Coaches/parents will be responsible for any child attending. 

Cost
Adult - £25
Child (age 12 – 15 years) - £20
This includes the Tour, lunch and 3 hours CPD on Outdoor 3G pitch
