Assessors play an important and integral role in developing today’s referee. They are the guardian of standards and provide a quality service towards referee promotion, development and retention. First and foremost, the assessor’s role is to help referees to improve and become better referees.

Experienced officials can make a difference to the development and progression of referees at all levels by becoming an FA Registered Assessor.
