Inclusion and Anti-Discrimination

Leagues & Clubs

Grassroots leagues and Clubs provide the foundations for our national game.

Thanks to our clubs and their volunteers, every week thousands of people are able to play,
watch and enjoy football across Westmorland. There are clubs across the county providing
opportunities for males and female of any age to participate in all formats of football.

So whether you’re looking to find a suitable club to join or want to set up a brand new club,
Westmorland County FA is here to help.

Read on for more information on the help and support we can provide to clubs in Westmorland.

Walter the wolf

Walter is the new mascot of the Westmorland county fA!

Walter the Wolf is loyal and sociable and always looks after his teammates. He is very fit and active and is inclusive of all of his team. He always wears his rainbow laces and just loves football just like all of our youth players in the County!

Walter the Wolf was designed by Isabella Chelton

The FA Respect

The FA's Respect programme provides a series of tools for leagues, clubs, coaches, players and parents from grassroots to elite football - to help ensure a safe, positive environment in which to play the game.
