Westmorland Under 18 League
Westmorland County FA Under 18 League 2020/2021
We are delighted to announce that the Westmorland County FA Under 18 league will start next season.
It is a number of years since the Westmorland & Furness League folded but we are excited to be reforming as the Westmorland County FA Under 18 League for 2020/21. After consultation with a number of clubs it was clear the demand to carry on was there.
The league will be essential for clubs to give players more time in youth football to ensure we keep as many players in the game as possible and eventually transition into senior football. Some players may even play Saturday football and Sunday youth football.
To support the number of players teams have, players who are U16, U17 and U18 next season will all be eligible to play.This is school years (Year 11, 12 and 13 from next season). The league is open to clubs from all across the County as we aim to provide a quality experience for all.
The league will be run by Westmorland County FA staff and we can't wait to get going!
