Westmorland County FA Emerging Talent Centre would like to express their great appreciation to Booths for sponsoring their home match kits for the 2023-24 season for the U10, U12, U14 and U16 teams. 

The Emerging Talent Centre is part of the England Talent Pathway and there are only a limited number of centres in existence across the country. 190 young female players registered for trials this season and 80 have been selected based on their ability, talent and potential. 

The purpose of the ETC is to provide the opportunity for young female players to develop their skills for a potential future professional football playing career. A number of players may also move into a career in coaching and/or refereeing or take up particular roles within clubs. The role of the centre is also to support young females’ holistic development as people who will make a positive contribution to society. 

We are delighted that Booths have assisted us in facilitating talented locally based young players wishing to achieve their potential, which shows a commitment from Booths to directly participate in providing opportunities for young people in our local communities.
