Westmorland County FA welcomed a new sponsor to last night’s Girls’ Player Development Centre session as O’Neil Associates became lead partner.
For O’Neil Associates, the opportunity to work with the County FA enables these local Chartered Architects to invest in the grassroots of the game, and give girls the opportunity of quality coaching programme.
The investment from O’Neil Associates will provide hoodies for the girls as well as contributing to facility hire and quality coaching. The centre aims to give a quality experience for the girls in a fun, safe and progressive environment.
The Westmorland County FA Chief Executive, Peter Ducksbury said: "O’Neil Associates have joined us at an exciting time as we focus our efforts on supporting the girls’ to get involved in the game, increase the number of participants and improve their talents and have fun."
Bob O’Neil of O’Neil Associates added: “We’re part of the football community here in Lakeland and have been impressed with the Westmorland County FA's grassroots development work for some time, especially in the area of women and girls’ football. To be afforded the opportunity to help out here has been a real privilege; this is our county and these talented girls are our future.”
